About Me
Hi there. I'm Carmen Coker, and I *heart* organizing! It was my interest in organization that led me to a career as a professional organizer. But that's now. Let me go back in time a few years... I went to the University of Mississippi (Go Rebels!) from 1995 - 1999. When I graduated, I gained not only a Spanish degree but also a commission as an officer in the U.S. Air Force. I spent the next 6 1/2 years working for Uncle Sam as a military intelligence analyst. I can't talk much about what I did during my time in service. As the joke says, "I could tell you, but I'd have to kill you!" I can say that I changed locations a lot, and each move provided a different type of job with different responsibilities. For me, it was a lifestyle and career that required me to stay extra organized! In late 2005, I decided to separate from military service and try something new. So I traded in my uniform for some cute clothes and started working in the civilian world. I went on to become a Department of Defense analyst for L3 Communications. It was interesting work, but it was also another job that supported military operations and national security. After a year in this particular position, I opted to switch gears again. This time, I really wanted to move outside the realm of military affairs. In May 2007, I officially opened Clutterbugs, a business that offers professional organizing services for the home. I haven't looked back since! I very much enjoy helping people get organized. And now my story has come full circle... Thanks for dropping by! Here's to your organizing success!
